Feyenoord pursues free agent Reiss Nelson for a return to the club

Feyenoord is looking to sign winger Reiss Nelson after the 26-year-old terminated his contract with Arsenal. Nelson is currently a free agent and eligible to join a new club outside of the standard transfer window. He previously played for the Rotterdam side during the 2021/2022 campaign, where he recorded four goals and seven assists across 32 appearances. Following his time at Feyenoord, Nelson struggled to secure regular playing time at Arsenal and spent recent seasons on loan at Fulham and Brentford. FR12 reports that the Eredivisie club is interested in bringing the player back to the squad to bolster their current roster. A reunion would see the winger return to the environment where he produced some of his most consistent statistical results.
