FIA grants Mercedes engine upgrades amid Red Bull concerns

The FIA has confirmed that Mercedes will receive engine upgrades despite objections from Red Bull and other rival teams. Following assessments conducted after recent races, Red Bull was determined to have the strongest engine in an earlier review period. However, no additional homologations were granted in the second assessment round, limiting potential upgrades for Red Bull. Teams like Ferrari, Audi, and Honda will benefit from more allowances as determined by their performance metrics.
