FIA WEC confirms Six Hours of Silverstone for April 2027

The FIA World Endurance Championship will return to Silverstone for the first time in eight years with the Six Hours of Silverstone, scheduled as the third round of the 2027 season from April 23-25. Silverstone Circuit CEO Stuart Pringle expressed excitement for the event, highlighting the venue's rich heritage in endurance racing. Frederic Lequien, CEO of FIA WEC, noted Silverstone's historical significance and the challenging nature of the circuit for drivers and teams. This event will expand the 2027 championship calendar to nine races and will coincide with the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans.
