Filip Nowacki claims gold in men's 200m breaststroke at Europeans

Filip Nowacki of Great Britain won the gold medal in the men's 200m breaststroke final at the European Aquatics Championships in Paris on August 13. The 18-year-old finished with a time of 2:07.70, narrowly defeating Caspar Corbeau of the Netherlands, who clocked in at 2:07.78. Luka Mladenovic of Austria secured the bronze with a time of 2:08.91. Nowacki previously made headlines by winning gold in the same event at the Commonwealth Games last month. Great Britain also saw bronze performances from Lauren Cox in the women's 50m backstroke and Freya Colbert in the women's 200m freestyle.
