Fiorentina secures Franco Mastantuono on loan from Real Madrid

Summary

Fiorentina has finalized a loan agreement for Franco Mastantuono from Real Madrid. The deal, reported on August 7, involves Fiorentina covering half of the 18-year-old forward's €3.5 million salary. The Argentine playmaker, who made only 15 starts last season for Madrid, was sought after by both Roma and Milan, but Fiorentina guaranteed him more playing time. As part of the arrangement, an understanding allows him to remain with Fiorentina if they qualify for European competition. This move comes as the Viola make adjustments to their roster with a potential tactical shift to better utilize their players.
