Fiorentina visits Venezia as Paolo Vanoli takes charge of the team

Fiorentina faces Venezia at the Stadio Penzo this evening in a Serie A match. Both clubs enter the fixture with zero points in the league table. Paolo Vanoli returns to lead Fiorentina following the departure of Fabio Grosso earlier this week. Vanoli previously managed Venezia and helped them secure promotion to the top flight during the 2024-25 campaign. For Fiorentina, striker Beto is expected to earn his first start for the club. Tactical adjustments include a shift in the defensive lineup, with Luca Ranieri and Marin Pongracic slated to start instead of Radu Dragusin. Fans in the United Kingdom and Ireland can view the match on DAZN, while supporters in the United States may watch via Paramount+.
