Fiorentina's goalkeepers faced a rough 2025-2026 season, with David de Gea, the Serie A Goalkeeper of the Year, conceding 59 goals in 46 appearances. Despite a dip in performance mid-season, he made crucial saves that helped prevent relegation. Oliver Christensen returned from loan to make four appearances, while Luca Lezzerini served mainly as backup. Tommaso Martinelli was loaned to Sampdoria for more playing time after limited opportunities with Fiorentina. Post-season assessments suggest changes may loom for the squad ahead of the next season.
