FireRock Country Club introduces Stadium Zoysia grass in Arizona

FireRock Country Club in Fountain Hills, Arizona, has become the first facility in the state to adopt Stadium Zoysia grass, designed to eliminate the need for overseeding. The change, part of a comprehensive renovation completed ahead of a grand reopening in 2025, aims to provide sustainable year-round play in desert conditions. This transition follows significant infrastructure improvements, including new drainage systems, and aims to save approximately 40 million gallons of water annually. The club has reported an increase in play, with 4,700 rounds played in January, up from 4,000 previously.
