Fisher Cats drop fifth consecutive game to Patriots, 12-2

The New Hampshire Fisher Cats lost to the Somerset Patriots, 12-2, on Sunday at Delta Dental Stadium. Somerset took an early lead, scoring three runs in the first four innings. New Hampshire managed to score twice in the fifth inning, with Cade Doughty and Nick Goodwin each recording a sacrifice fly. Somerset then pulled away with four runs in the seventh, one in the eighth, and four more in the ninth. New Hampshire's starter Mason Olson took the loss after four innings on the mound. The Fisher Cats, who only tallied four hits during the game, will face the Hartford Yard Goats in a six-game series beginning Tuesday.
