Larry Fitzgerald, the former Arizona Cardinals star, threw the ceremonial first pitch at the Diamondbacks' final home game of the regular season against the Yankees at Chase Field on September 20. Fitzgerald, who spent 17 seasons in the NFL with the Cardinals, was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame last month. The Diamondbacks entered the game with a home record of 44-36.
