Five amateurs complete play at the 2026 U.S. Open

At the 2026 U.S. Open held at Shinnecock Hills, five amateurs made the cut out of twenty who started. Ryder Cowan and Jackson Koivun finished tied for the lowest score among amateurs at 5-over par. Miles Russell finished at 7-over, Marek Fleming at 10-over, and Eric Lee at 13-over. This year marked a return to having a tie for low amateur for the first time since 2018.
