Five-star Albert Simien commits to Notre Dame over Texas A&M
Summary

Five-star offensive lineman Albert Simien has committed to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, rejecting offers from the Texas A&M Aggies, LSU Tigers, and Nebraska Cornhuskers. Simien, from Lake Charles, Louisiana, was a top target for Texas A&M, who had been recruiting him since October 2024 and had multiple visits with the program. Notre Dame's recruitment surged after Simien's official visit on June 12, effectively securing his commitment just a week later. Despite this loss, Texas A&M maintains the top recruiting class nationally with six five-star commits.
