Five-star recruit Mark Matthews confirms his commitment to Texas A&M

Five-star offensive tackle Mark Matthews recently reaffirmed his commitment to Texas A&M. The Florida prospect explicitly stated he remains a thousand percent locked in with the Aggies despite ongoing interest from the Miami Hurricanes. Matthews, a standout at St. Thomas Aquinas, is considered one of the top pass-protecting prospects in the 2027 recruiting class. The Texas A&M program currently holds the No. 1-ranked recruiting class for the 2027 cycle, which includes five other five-star pledges. Matthews is scheduled to visit College Station this weekend to attend the Texas A&M season opener against Missouri State.
