Five Sydney Swans players suspended amid police investigation

Summary

Five players from the Sydney Swans, including Isaac Heeney and Chad Warner, have been suspended for the remainder of the AFL season following late-night drinking and inviting women to their hotel after a match in Melbourne. This decision is part of a larger police investigation into an alleged sexual assault that reportedly occurred at the Pullman Hotel. The club and league expressed embarrassment over the situation, emphasizing their support for the ongoing police inquiry. No arrests have been made at this time.
