Five UCLA Bruins named to Athlon Sports' Preseason All-Big Ten teams

Athlon Sports recognized five UCLA Bruins as part of its Preseason All-Conference Big Ten teams. Wayne Knight was honored twice, making the Second Team as an All-Purpose player and the Third Team as a Punt Returner, following a standout season at James Madison. Sahir West, a recent transfer, earned Third Team accolades as a Defensive Lineman after a strong freshman year. Eugene Brooks, Sammy Omosigho, and Rodrick Pleasant were also recognized on the Fourth Team across various positions, showcasing the depth and talent of the Bruins heading into the season. The selections come as college football is set to begin later this summer.
