Flau’jae Johnson returns to LSU campus for ESPN College GameDay appearance

Seattle Storm guard and former LSU basketball standout Flau’jae Johnson made an appearance on the ESPN College GameDay program on Friday in Baton Rouge. Johnson engaged with the crowd ahead of the SEC school's Week 1 college football matchup. A member of the 2023 LSU national championship team alongside Jasmine Carson and Angel Reese, Johnson was selected eighth overall in the 2026 WNBA Draft. In her debut WNBA season, she is averaging 14.1 points and 4.8 rebounds per game for the Seattle Storm. Beyond her basketball career, Johnson maintains a music career under Jay-Z’s Roc Nation label. The Storm currently rank at the bottom of the WNBA standings, though Johnson remains a significant contributor for the franchise.
