Flavio Briatore accuses judge of bias in Alpine Monaco GP appeal

Alpine executive Flavio Briatore has questioned the impartiality of the FIA International Court of Appeal following a ruling that stripped Pierre Gasly of a third-place finish in the Monaco Grand Prix. The court overturned a previous decision that had cleared Gasly of a pitlane speeding penalty, resulting in the reinstatement of Isack Hadjar to the podium. During a press conference at the Italian Grand Prix on September 4, Briatore alleged that one of the judges maintained undisclosed professional links to McLaren, which was a party to the appeal. While Alpine accepted the court's final ruling, Briatore indicated the team is currently evaluating potential future litigation regarding the fairness of the hearing. McLaren team principal Andrea Stella dismissed the allegations as insulting to the team's reputation.
