Flavio Briatore accuses judge of bias in Alpine Monaco GP appeal

Alpine executive Flavio Briatore has questioned the impartiality of the FIA International Court of Appeal following a ruling that stripped Pierre Gasly of a third-place finish in the Monaco Grand Prix. The court overturned a previous decision that had cleared Gasly of a pitlane speeding penalty, resulting in the reinstatement of Isack Hadjar to the podium. During a press conference at the Italian Grand Prix on September 4, Briatore alleged that one of the judges maintained undisclosed professional links to McLaren, which was a party to the appeal. While Alpine accepted the court's final ruling, Briatore indicated the team is currently evaluating potential future litigation regarding the fairness of the hearing.
