Fleetwood Town has signed defender Jake Batty to a two-year contract following his release from Swindon Town this summer. Batty, 21, made 14 starts for Swindon in the latter part of last season and previously played for Blackburn Rovers and Accrington Stanley. His acquisition coincides with the arrival of goalkeeper James Pradic, also 21, who joins after spending five years with Preston North End without appearing in a senior match. Batty's signing aims to bolster Fleetwood's defensive lineup for the upcoming season.
