Floodlights to be on for Hundred matches during solar eclipse

Floodlights will illuminate all four matches in The Hundred on Wednesday, August 12, due to a partial solar eclipse. The eclipse is expected to obscure up to 90 percent of the sun between 6:17 PM and 8:06 PM, with peak coverage shortly after 7 PM. Organizers have instituted this measure to ensure visibility throughout the games, which are scheduled to be broadcast live on Sky Sports. The matches include Welsh Fire women's team against London Spirit women's team at 11:30 AM, and the Birmingham Phoenix women's team hosting MI London at 3 PM. The men's teams will follow, with matches beginning at 3 PM and 6:30 PM respectively.
