Florian Thauvin struggles to find clubs as Montpellier and Lorient reject him

Florian Thauvin has revealed difficulties in securing a club upon his return to France from Mexico. After finishing his contract with Tigres UANL, Thauvin sought opportunities with Montpellier and Lorient but reported that both teams did not respond to his calls. The 33-year-old eventually transitioned to Udinese, where he played for two and a half seasons and gained recognition for his consistent performance. He subsequently earned a return to France, where he had a successful spell with Lens, scoring 14 goals and contributing 10 assists last season, helping the team qualify for the UEFA Champions League and win the Coupe de France.
