Florida enters ESPN power rankings following win over Florida Atlantic

Florida football secured the No. 24 spot in ESPN's latest power rankings after a 66-0 season-opening victory against Florida Atlantic. The performance marked the team's highest scoring output since November 2021 and featured nine touchdowns. Redshirt sophomore quarterback Aaron Philo passed for four touchdowns in his debut under offensive coordinator Buster Faulkner. Running back Jadan Baugh finished with 150 rushing yards and three touchdowns, becoming the third Florida player to reach those marks in a single game over the last 30 years. Following the win, the program also rose to No. 17 in the ESPN Football Power Index. The team prepares for upcoming matchups against several ranked opponents, including Georgia, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, and Oklahoma.
