Florida football fall camp starts August 5 with media availability

Florida football begins its fall training camp on August 5, confirming a report from The Gainesville Sun. Head coach Jon Sumrall, along with players and select assistant coaches, will meet the media on August 4. The Gators will have two scrimmages scheduled for August 15 and August 22, culminating in a wrap-up camp event the following week. The team is also set to participate in SEC Media Day in Tampa from July 20-23, with Florida speaking on July 22. Florida's 2026 season opener against Florida Atlantic is scheduled for September 5 at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.
