Florida football improves to 2-0 after defeating Campbell at The Swamp

Florida football secured a 52-3 victory over Campbell on September 12 at The Swamp, moving the team to a 2-0 record for the first time since 2021. The Gators established a 45-3 lead by halftime, bolstered by two special teams touchdowns from Vernell Brown III on punt returns of 64 and 70 yards. Offensively, Dallas Wilson contributed 104 receiving yards and a touchdown, while Jadan Baugh rushed for 136 yards and two scores, marking his third consecutive game with over 100 rushing yards. Despite the win, coach Jn Sumrall expressed dissatisfaction with the second-half performance, where the team only managed seven points. The Gators now shift focus to their upcoming nine-game SEC schedule, beginning with a road game against Auburn on September 19.
