Florida football players occupy 43 roster spots across NFL teams

Forty-three former University of Florida players secured spots on NFL rosters as teams finalized their opening lineups for the 2026 season. The group includes a cross-section of experienced veterans, recent draft selections, and undrafted free agents playing across various positions. Offensive leaders such as Anthony Richardson and Kyle Pitts highlight the group, while defensive contributors include Jonathan Greenard and C.J. Gardner-Johnson. Seven former Gators also represent the program as specialists, including veterans Evan McPherson and Tommy Townsend. Despite a decade of coaching instability at the collegiate level, the university continues to maintain a significant presence in the professional ranks.
