Florida Gators overhaul roster with 50 new players ahead of season

The Florida Gators have significantly revamped their roster by adding 50 newcomers during Jon Sumrall's first offseason. This includes 29 FBS transfers, a junior college transfer, and 20 high school recruits. Despite having one of the least experienced offenses with only 39% of snaps returning, the defense retains 67% of its snaps. The Gators' key transfer additions include wide receiver Eric Singleton Jr. and safeties DJ Coleman and Cam Dooley. Quarterback Aaron Philo, with limited experience, has been named the Week 1 starter as the team prepares for the upcoming season.
