Florida football improved to No. 8 in the US LBM coaches poll following a 52-28 victory over No. 6 Ole Miss on September 26. The Gators, now 4-0 and 2-0 in the SEC, achieved their highest ranking since December 2020. The team's offense has been strong, scoring 40 or more points in all four games this season, a feat last accomplished in 2001.
