Florida left-hander Eli Blair enters baseball transfer portal

Eli Blair, a left-handed pitcher for Florida baseball, is entering the transfer portal, as announced on June 15. The rising sophomore had a 4.82 ERA in 2026, with nine appearances as a true freshman. He is the third southpaw to leave the program, joining McCall Biemiller and Rivers Kurland. This offseason, Florida has already seen five pitchers depart for the portal, including starting second baseman Cade Kurland, who is headed to LSU. The Gators are looking to reinforce their pitching staff with new recruits.
