Florida has named Aaron Philo as the starting quarterback for the upcoming season. Philo, a transfer from Georgia Tech, won the job over redshirt freshman Tramell Jones Jr. He is familiar with the offense, having previously worked with Gators offensive coordinator Buster Faulkner. Philo will debut against Florida Atlantic on September 5 at 7:45 p.m. ET.
