Florida Panthers face LA Kings in season's early matchup

The Florida Panthers visit the Los Angeles Kings on October 6 for an NHL matchup at Crypto Arena. The Panthers, struggling with injuries to Sasha Barkov and Aaron Ekblad, have recorded four points over three games despite two overtime losses. The Kings are adapting following the retirement of Anze Kopitar and have bolstered their roster with Artemi Panarin, who has performed well since joining the team. Panthers coach Paul Maurice noted adjustments in his lineup due to the absences, while Kings coach Peter Laviolette aims to leverage the experience of his veteran players to improve the team's performance this season.
