Florida State and NC State finish in a 2-2 soccer draw

No. 18 Florida State and NC State played to a 2-2 draw in their ACC opener on September 11 at the Seminole Soccer Complex. The Wolfpack opened the scoring in the second minute with a goal from Erica Roberts. Florida State responded in the 22nd minute when Wrianna Hudson headed home a cross from Shaneil Buckley. NC State regained the lead in the 57th minute through a Daisy Duda goal, but Buckley equalized seven minutes later with a solo effort that curled off the crossbar. Despite late offensive opportunities for both sides, neither team managed to break the deadlock before the final whistle. The Seminoles move to a 4-1-2 record and travel to face Louisville on September 27.
