Florida State coach Mike Norvell evaluates offensive line during bye week

Florida State head coach Mike Norvell is evaluating his offensive line options during the team's bye week. The Seminoles currently hold a 1-1 record after a 27-24 loss to SMU in their previous outing. During that game, Norvell made a mid-match lineup adjustment by removing right tackle Chimdia Nwaiwu in favor of Nate Pabst and Paul Bowling. Nwaiwu struggled in the season opener against New Mexico State and continued to face challenges against SMU. Norvell indicated that he is looking for the most effective five-man combination for the unit. The coaching staff is now restructuring the lineup to provide better protection for quarterback Ashton Daniels. The team will test these changes when they travel to face No. 11 Alabama on September 19.
