Florida State football holds first preseason scrimmage at Doak Campbell Stadium

Florida State football conducted its first preseason scrimmage on August 4 at Doak Campbell Stadium. Head coach Mike Norvell reported the team executed 70-80 plays, featuring red-zone scenarios and sustained drives. Quarterback Ashton Daniels showcased his command and decision-making on offense, while safety Ashlynd Barker stood out on defense. The scrimmage included contributions from Micahi Danzy, who scored a touchdown, and several notable defensive performances. The Seminoles will participate in a second scrimmage on August 9 before heading to Jacksonville for further practice.
