Florida State identifies quarterback Hudson West as a top recruiting target

Florida State hosted 2028 three-star quarterback Hudson West for an unofficial visit during the team's season opener last Saturday. The Sarasota, Florida, prospect spent five hours in Tallahassee, marking his second visit to campus since receiving a scholarship offer in April. During the trip, West met with former Seminoles quarterback Jordan Travis and received confirmation from the coaching staff that he is considered a primary target for the program. West is currently ranked as the nation's No. 34 quarterback and the No. 65 prospect in Florida. Despite interest from the Seminoles, West faces ongoing recruitment from the Florida Gators, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, and North Carolina Tar Heels. The junior signal-caller enters this season with 651 passing yards and seven touchdowns through his early games. Florida State aims to maintain contact with West and plans to secure another campus visit later this season.
