Florida State remains unranked following loss to SMU Mustangs

The Florida State Seminoles currently hold no position in the AP Top 25 poll following a loss to the SMU Mustangs on Monday. Florida State did not receive any votes in the latest rankings update. Conversely, the SMU Mustangs climbed to No. 17 in the poll after their victory. Other ACC teams featured in the rankings include the Miami Hurricanes at No. 7 and the Virginia Cavaliers at No. 25. Pittsburgh and Virginia Tech currently sit in the others receiving votes category. Florida State faces a upcoming road game against the No. 12 Alabama Crimson Tide at Bryant-Denny Stadium. That match is scheduled for Saturday, September 19, at 3:30 p.m. ET.
