Florida State reorganizes coaching staff for the 2026-27 basketball season

Florida State head coach Luke Loucks has finalized several changes to his men’s basketball staff ahead of the 2026-27 season. Justin Lindner earned a promotion to assistant coach after serving as an assistant director of player development. Sam Logwood joins the program as the director of video and scouting, bringing prior experience from the Sacramento Kings and Cal State Bakersfield. These appointments follow the departure of Chris Kent, who left the university to become the head coach of the Austin Spurs in the NBA G League. Kent spent one season with the Seminoles, a campaign that included 18 victories and a program record of five consecutive road wins in ACC play. Florida State begins its non-conference schedule on November 2 against Florida A&M at the Orion180 Tip-Off Classic in Tampa.
