Florida State's special teams coordinator discusses preseason preparations

Florida State's special teams coordinator Adam Scheier held a media session on August 13, discussing the team's preparations for the upcoming season. He praised kick returners Micahi Danzy and Samuel Singleton Jr. as among the best in the country and noted their blocking schemes are coming together. True freshman Jasen Lopez is currently the frontrunner for punt return duties. Scheier also confirmed that Oklahoma State transfer Gabe Panikowski is the starting placekicker, Conor McAneney will handle kickoffs, and New Mexico transfer Daniel Hughes is set to be the starting punter.
