Florida's Thomas Haugh ranked top small forward for 2026-27 season

Florida men's basketball player Thomas Haugh has been ranked the top small forward in Sports Illustrated's position-by-position series for the 2026-27 season. Haugh, standing 6-foot-9, opted to return to Florida rather than enter the 2026 NBA Draft, aiming to enhance his legacy with the Gators. After graduating from a championship-winning season in 2025, he had a standout year in which he averaged 17.1 points and 6.1 rebounds per game on 46% shooting. As the season approaches, he is also seen as a contender for the Wooden Award and other major individual honors.
