Flyers announce arena renderings and training camp roster details

The Philadelphia Flyers and the Philadelphia 76ers released new renderings on Tuesday for a proposed arena in South Philadelphia. The project, which is scheduled to open in 2030, is a joint venture between Comcast Spectacor and Harris-Blitzer Sports & Entertainment. Separately, the Flyers announced the 46-player roster for their upcoming training camp. Rookie camp is set to open Friday, September 11, at the PPL Center in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The team will transition to training camp at the Flyers Training Center in Voorhees, New Jersey, with sessions beginning Thursday, September 17. The preseason schedule includes an opening game against the Washington Capitals in Hershey on September 21, followed by a home game against the Boston Bruins at Xfinity Mobile Arena on September 22.
