AS Monaco may see the return of Folarin Balogun and Ansu Fati for their match against RC Lens on Friday night. Both players have yet to feature this season due to injuries; Fati has been sidelined since pre-season, while Balogun is recovering from a knee issue sustained during the FIFA World Cup. The team's depth is being tested after Anis Soubeir's ankle injury and Stanis Idumbo's psoas issue during their last match, which ended in a draw against RC Strasbourg Alsace. While the club's manager, Filipe Luís, indicated Balogun's return may be delayed until after the international break, there are expectations he could be operational sooner.
