Folarin Balogun has been excluded from the Monaco squad for the Conference League group phase and will not travel to face Paris Saint-Germain on Friday. The striker has not appeared in any of the team's four matches this season. His absence follows the collapse of a proposed transfer to Everton on the final day of the summer window. Monaco sporting director Thiago Scuro stated the player withdrew from the deal after concerns regarding a medical examination. The club currently faces pressure to sell players to meet French league financial regulations. While the European transfer window has closed, potential moves to leagues with open windows, such as Saudi Arabia, remain possible. Takumi Minamino returns to the Monaco squad for the match against Paris Saint-Germain following an eight-month absence due to a torn ACL.
