Folarin Balogun will remain at AS Monaco after a proposed transfer to Everton collapsed on deadline day. The deal, initially structured as a €50m package, stalled after Everton raised concerns regarding the striker's medical results. Although the clubs attempted to renegotiate the terms, the player ultimately decided against the move and returned to his current club. The fallout from this failed transfer affected other business, as Monaco subsequently canceled the sale of Lamine Camara to Chelsea. Monaco had initially agreed to release Camara but scrapped the deal once the planned income from the Balogun sale did not materialize. Arsenal, which held a 17.5% sell-on clause for Balogun, missed out on a projected payment of £6-7.5m.
