Football fans participate in Prostate United cancer campaign for October

Prostate United encourages football supporters to participate in a fundraising campaign for prostate cancer starting in October. Founded in 2018 by Stephen Gilpin and Ross Burbeary, the initiative honors Gilpin's grandfather, who died of prostate cancer. Participants will be sponsored to walk, run, or cycle daily throughout October, with supporters of various clubs competing for fundraising totals. Last year, Doncaster Rovers supporters raised the most and claimed victory. Several former players, including Chris Hughton and Mick Harford, are already on board for this year's campaign.
