Ford announces driver lineup for 2027 WEC Hypercar entry

Ford has finalized its driver lineup for the Hypercar class of the World Endurance Championship, set to launch in 2027. The newly signed trio includes Matt Campbell, Nick Yelloly, and Tom Blomqvist, joining previously announced drivers Mike Rockenfeller, Sebastian Priaulx, and Logan Sargeant. These drivers bring significant prototype racing experience, with Campbell and Blomqvist holding IMSA overall titles. The new recruits come from Acura and Porsche, following shifts in those manufacturers’ racing programs. Ford plans to unveil its new LMDh prototype in August and will manage the team in-house, aiming for a successful return to the top-tier endurance racing after decades.
