Former Athletics bat boy admits to impersonating Eric Byrnes

Eric Byrnes stated on the Deuces Wild podcast that a former Oakland Athletics bat boy used his identity to engage with women. Byrnes reported that the individual impersonated him while driving, eventually misleading passengers into sexual acts under the pretense that he was the outfielder. The staff member later confessed the encounter to equipment manager Steve Vucinich and to Byrnes himself. The disclosure follows reports of federal wire fraud charges filed in Oregon against Daejon Love, who is accused of scamming 26 women out of $1.3 million by posing as a 49ers wide receiver. Public reaction to the fraud case has drawn comments from various figures, including Terrell Owens and Jason Kelce. Law enforcement officials have charged Love in connection with the financial scheme involving his identity deception.
