Former Chicago Bears players find new teams after roster cuts

Following the Chicago Bears' initial 53-man roster cutdown, several players have secured spots with other NFL franchises. Offensive lineman Mason Murphy signed to the Saints' active roster, while Kiran Amegadjie and Jedrick Wills joined the practice squads for the Eagles and Bills, respectively. The Bears finalized their roster and practice squad moves ahead of their regular-season opener against the Carolina Panthers, which is scheduled for less than two weeks away. Several other players who were released remain free agents, including quarterback Miller Moss and defensive back Beanie Bishop. Meanwhile, the team retained internal depth by re-signing multiple players to the active roster and practice squad, while placing others on injured reserve.
