Former Michigan State defenseman David Gucciardi joins Washington Capitals rookie camp

Former Michigan State University defenseman David Gucciardi has received an invitation to the Washington Capitals rookie camp. He is one of 19 players selected for the event and joins a group of seven defensemen participating. Gucciardi recorded 17 goals and 28 assists over 139 games during his four-year collegiate career with the Spartans. Since transitioning to professional hockey, he has played 54 games for the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League, tallying four goals and 11 assists.
