Former MLB stars conduct baseball clinic for kids in Mumbai

Former MLB players, including Nick Swisher and Adrian Gonzalez, held a baseball clinic for schoolchildren in Mumbai on October 23. The event, aimed at introducing baseball in cricket-dominated India, featured drills demonstrating the adaptability of local youth to baseball skills. Gonzalez expressed surprise at the children's advanced skills, attributing it to similarities between cricket and baseball. The clinic focused particularly on girls, who reportedly outperformed boys, highlighting the potential for women's baseball in India. Following the clinic, the MLB players are scheduled to participate in a 3-on-3 baseball event with local cricketers this Saturday.
