Marsh was a standout at Eastern Kentucky, where he helped the team win the 1967 Grantland Rice Bowl and earned All-American honors. Over his two seasons with the Patriots in the late 1960s, he recorded 27 receptions for 439 yards and four touchdowns. A tribute from his alma mater noted his significant contributions on and off the field, highlighting his legacy as one of the first Black student-athletes at the school. Eastern Kentucky plans to honor Marsh's memory with support for his family and friends.
