Former PGA Tour golfer Matt McQuillan dies at age 45

Matt McQuillan, a former golfer on the PGA Tour, passed away at the age of 45. The Canadian golfer earned his PGA Tour membership in 2010 and competed in 32 events, achieving his best finish with a tie for third place at the 2011 John Deere Classic. Before his time on the Tour, McQuillan turned professional in 2003 and celebrated a victory at the Edmonton Open in 2005. Most recently, he worked as a teaching pro in Kingston, Ontario. The Tour announced his death but did not provide details regarding the cause.
