Former Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Ivan Fedotov returns to KHL with Spartak Moskva

Goaltender Ivan Fedotov has returned to the KHL, signing a two-year contract with Spartak Moskva. The 29-year-old previously played in North America for the Philadelphia Flyers and the AHL's Cleveland Monsters, where he recorded a 23-16-9 record. Fedotov struggled during his NHL tenure with the Philadelphia Flyers, finishing with a 3.29 goals-against average and an.874 save percentage. In his first two KHL appearances this season, he has recorded a 1.51 goals-against average and a.940 save percentage. Spartak Moskva split its first two matches, starting with a 1-0 loss to Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod before a 3-2 victory against CSKA Moscow. Fedotov joins former Philadelphia Flyers draft pick German Rubtsov on the Spartak Moskva roster.
